Well, unless it’s in the form of a really cheap £1 alarm clock that has been dropped!

Despite stripping it right back to its component parts, I still couldn’t fix it. I suspect the small circuit board was the problem but with no multimeter or soldering iron, I couldn’t investigate any further to repair it.
