Thanks so much for sharing! My 10 year old son and I have just got an Uno and excitedly installed the software and tried to connect it to a Macbook Pro (2012 running Sierra) but it wouldn't connect :(

Your tip for installing the CH34X driver did the trick and we're now connected and playing :)
