Setting targets and goals
Evening!
Onto Day 6 of my 7 day startup journey today! And today was all about setting some goals and targets for the business. Without setting some targets, how do you measure if something is a success or not?
So I broke out the spreadsheets and put some forecasts etc together. In the end the numbers worked out to be fairly simple and I think (though that’s to be proved of course!) that I’ve gone with sensible, achievable targets. Basically, I’m looking to get just 2 new customers per week for the one off marketing basics course, and again 2 new customers per week for the monthly marketing club. Interestingly, at around the year mark, the club target is to hit 100 members. Lots of nice round numbers :)
Tomorrow is the big day, day 7, launch day! The products will launch at midday so tomorrow will be all about making as much noise about this to generate sales and some momentum. Exciting stuff! And of course I’ll have genuinely special launch offers to you and others on this list as a thank you for your support :)
Thanks
Richard
