Rice harvest

I’d noticed that the rice fields weren’t quite as lush and green as they were before. On closer inspection, they look like they’re getting close to being ready for harvest with lots of grains of rice on the plants.

Something I didn’t realise until recently is that Vietnam is the third largest exporter of rice in the world and keeps many other countries supplied with staple food. It exports 6.5 million tonnes of it a year!
