I left the house for the first time in over a week (I think we’re on lockdown day 10 now?) to go buy food today. It was eerily quiet as the photo shows. This junction is near the centre of Hoi An and is usually really busy with traffic. It just shows that people are staying at home as they’re supposed to.

It was really good to see that anyone who was out was wearing a mask and people were staying away from each other. The few shops that were open all had hand sanitiser outside and some of these shops won’t even let people in. Instead they have essentials on tables at the front and will get anything else for you, thereby avoiding people being able to mix inside. It feels very different and much more serious than the 2 weeks lockdown we had back in April.
