More marketing done

Today’s task in the 7 Day Startup process was “10 Ways To Market Your Business”. I did go through it all even though I knew that I had already been doing a lot of the tasks since day 1. Here’s a brief update of what I did do though.

I’ve been creating content, and sending email. I’ve been hitting lots of online groups and Facebook groups with my story of the new business. I also started planning the free content that will be going out weekly as “Marketing Monday”. This will be published via email, on a YouTube channel, a podcast, and blog. So whether people prefer video, audio, or written content, they’ll be catered for :)

This morning I went to a business networking event and have already been booked for 2 different speaking slots (where I’ll be talking about marketing of course!) at local networking meetings. Finally, there’s some potential media coverage about the business and 7 Day Startup process which is exciting!

Tomorrow I’m at an event all day which will be an early start so I won’t send an update in the morning. Day 6 in the process is all about setting targets for the business though. I’ll update you on my progress on this tomorrow evening as I’ve already started doing some of this.
