This is one of the most well known landmarks in Hoi An, the Japanese covered bridge (aka the Car Chua pagoda). It’s over 400 years old and is such an important national monument it’s on 20k Vietnamese Dong bank notes. It was originally built to cross the river to link the biggest Chinese and Japanese communities in Hoi An.
