It’s Easy to Overlook Something so Obvious

Welcome to 1 Minute Marketing Monday!

Most people think that marketing is all about getting your message out there and finding potential new customers who’ve never heard of you. That’s not the case though, your existing and previous customers are even more important. If you already have a happy customer, selling something else to them is much easier than a new customer. This is because they already trust you from their previous experience. It obviously goes without saying that any follow up sale should be something they actually want, need, or is genuinely helpful for them though!

So instead of spending this week looking for new customers, why not concentrate on marketing to your existing customers? Could you send out an offer to all previous customers? Could you let them know about an add-on to something they previously bought? If you sell consumables, could you follow up when you think they’ll need to reorder?

Have a great week!

Thanks

Richard
