How To Reset a Yamaha NVX 155 Oil Change Indicator Light

A very quick how-to video showing the procedure to reset the “oil change” indicator light on the display of a Yamaha NVX 155. This was done on my current generation (gen 2) 2021 Yamaha NVX155 scooter with the digital dashboard and smartkey ignition and remote keyfob.

As you’ll see in the video the procedure is as follows:

1. Switch on the ignition.
2. Use the menu button to scroll to the oil tripmeter.
3. Press and hold the menu button until the mileage starts flashing.
4. Release the menu button.
5. Press and hold the menu button again until the mileage resets to zero.

The “oil change” indicator / light on the scooters dashboard will reset / clear and no longer be shown.
