How to improve communication with this 1 simple tip

This week I have a quick tip about communication and how to use it better with prospective customers.

Everyone is different and prefers to communicate in their own way. One person may prefer short, factual answers, another may want lots of in-depth detail. One person may only communicate via email and hate using the phone, but another may only check emails once a day and always pick up the phone.

Typically the best way to communicate with someone so that it works best for them, is to do it in the same style as they do with you. So if someone sends a long detailed email with lots of questions in a logical order, answer in exactly the same way, with a logical, detailed email back answering all their questions. If they call you with a quick question, call them back with a quick answer.

It sounds simple and it is, but it will really help improve communications between you.
