After 4 weeks of a strict lockdown (lockdown really does mean lockdown here in Vietnam) and only a handful of new cases in the past few days, our lockdown has been lifted! This was quite unexpected as I thought we’d have a couple more weeks, but it’s extremely welcome as you can imagine. 😃

My first thoughts were the friends we can now see, and then the adventures we can plan. It wasn’t “oh great, we can now go out and buy x”. I believe that true happiness (not just dopamine hits) comes from people and experiences rather than material things. And this has been a great reminder of that. 👍
