I took the Honda Shadow for its annual service and to have a full checkover. I’d had a quote for this doing at a local place 5 minutes away for a quarter of the price so why did I travel an hour there and pay so much more to get it done elsewhere. Expertise.
Every 200m is a little mechanics shop here but they’re only used to working on scooters. Getting work done on bigger bikes is quite different. The mechanic I took it to has a great reputation and came personally recommended to me by someone I trust. As expected, he did a superb job on my bike too.
Businesses are always looking for ways to make more sales and often look at different marketing and sales techniques to do so. But the best thing they can do is to simply do a great job and become trusted and recommended by their customers.
