5 Things I Learned From Riding a 50cc Moped for 2 Months

Over summer I was living near Brno in the Czech Republic for a couple of months. So to get my motorcycle fix I managed to get hold of a 50cc Babetta 210.

The advantages of this were that because they’re a moped under 50cc that also have pedals, you don’t need the Czech equivalent of MOT, road tax, or even registration. The only thing I did need was insurance which was quick, easy and very cheap (£6 a year!) to arrange.

So when the time came for me to leave Czech I thought it was worth sharing my thoughts on what it’s like to live with a 50cc moped/motorbike/motorcycle and some things I learnt from doing so.

I previously did a full video review of the Babetta 210 (also known as a Jawa 210) here https://youtu.be/-b84U5n8h24

Also, come along and join the Rich Rides Facebook group, where you’ll get sneak previews, news, and photos of upcoming videos coming to the channel https://www.facebook.com/groups/2009081882728807/

Thanks

Richard
