1 year travelling!

A year ago today we left the UK to set off on a year long trip around the world. Here are a few of my thoughts and things I’ve learned along the way…

✅ Doing something like this is much easier than you think.

✅ You really don’t need much with you. Pack light.

✅ Travel and the experiences it brings, is the best education you can get.

✅ Material things mean nothing.

✅ The more travelling you do, the easier it is.

✅ Normal is however you’re living right now. You adapt quickly.

✅ Children are a reason to do something like this, not an excuse not too.

✅ Real friends and a social circle are more important than you realise.

✅ Time for yourself is essential.

✅ Working on something that fulfils you is more beneficial than you think.

✅ Technology and local Facebook groups make life in unfamiliar places so much easier.

✅ You find good people everywhere.

✅ If you’re thinking of doing something like this, just do it. There is no right time to go.
